Florida, the Sunshine State
Florida is a southeastern American state. The state capital is Tallahassee, in the northwest of the state. Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa and Miami are important cities of Florida.
Miami is in the southeast part of the state. The name Miami is derived from an Indian word for “ Big Water”.
The principal attraction in Miami is the long and beautiful beach.
