Do
you know the origin of Easter? This holiday that recalls the three days of
death until the resurrection of Christ has great significance and reflects one
of the pillars of the Christian faith. Easter also indicates the end of Lent,
the 40-day period marked by fasts and abdications. The last week of Lent, also
known as Holy Week, is the period that covers Easter. It begins on Palm Sunday,
which marks the arrival of Christ in Jerusalem, followed by Passion Friday,
which recalls Christ's death. This week's completion takes place 3 days later,
on Easter Sunday.
Today,
and every day of your life, may the joy of Easter invade your heart and that of
those you love, radiating light to illuminate and shine the world in which we
live, filling it with health, peace and love. May the bunny bring you much more
than just chocolate eggs. May it bring you much health, love, happiness,
understanding, affection. May you be blessed, by the one who gave us your life.
